Prior to the Loney Dear concert at the Knaack, Berlin, we met Emil Svanängen at the backyard of the club. Accompanied by the very present voice of a nightingale we talked about Johann Sebastian Bach, recording at home, the new album »Dear John«, uniqueness, his mother, the influence of environment, his close connection to the audience, musical structures and the Haldern Pop Festival.
